"With its different textures and soft colors, this shawl
is named after my mother’s hometown of Ulm. The patterns and vintage look nostalgically recall my grandmother’s home, the old town architecture and happy memories of exploring my family’s past through a child ́s eyes."
- Trin Annelie
The shawl starts with 3 CO sts and continues with setting up the shaping and the first textured section. Increasing happens symmetrically on both outer edges of the shawl until the total number of stitches and therefore the tip of the triangle is reached. The final shaping is done by adding stitches on one edge and reducing them on the other.
To finish the shawl stitches are picked up along the edge towards the tip of the triangle and then bound off with a regular BO.
The pattern contains fully written instructions as well as charts.
