Description

This cardigan is worked almost completely seamlessly to minimize finishing. You begin by casting on stitches for cabled collar, along which you later pick up stitches for the body of the cardigan. Once the collar is joined to the body, the whole cardigan is worked back and forth until bottom hem. The collar transitions seamlessly into the front edging, which is worked concurrently with the body. The sweater is worked mostly in Stockinette stitch with the collar, front bands and a back panel worked in cables and garter stitch. A-line shaping is achieved by increasing not only at the sides, but also at the cabled front bands and the back panel.

The sleeves are worked last. They are worked in the round and finished with Garter cuffs.
