More information customize cookiesPom Pom was founded in 2012 as a quarterly that presents knitting, crochet, and craft in the modern, beautiful, and meaningful way.
Mainly conceived as a collection of patterns complemented by thoughtful writing and useful tutorials, it celebrates the joy of making!
The vivid and dramatic Winter 2020 collection is guest edited by Stephen West and Aimée Gille! Together, they have bought their passion for colour, texture, and bold design to the pages of Issue 35.
Stephen and Aimée, as a dynamic duo themselves, chose colourful collaborations as their theme for this issue! Prepare yourselves for delightful pairings in these winter bright designs, ranging from a designer-yarn dyer collaboration, to two designers working on the same design, to two paired yarns just destined to be worked together!
The 10 knit and crochet designs combine colours in different ways, from mohair marling, to graphic double knitting, and simple colour pop stripes. Celebrate vivid hues and bright motifs to bring a spark of joy to the winter months!
Featuring designs by:
ALICE CAETANO // AINUR BERKIMBAYEVA // BRISTOL IVY // GEORGE CULLEN // HIROKO PAYNE // LES GARÇONS // OLGA BURAYA-KEFELIAN // SANDRA GUTIERREZ // STEPHEN WEST // THIEN-KIEU LAM // ZACHARY WILDER
Also to enjoy this issue is a conversation between Gaye Glasspie and dyer Adella Colvin of Lolabean Yarn Co. and Aimée’s signature scone recipe that she serves at L’Oisive Thé.
