Ika is the perfect cardigan for spring, with its scooped neck, and the colored braids on the sleeves. This garment is worked from the top down to minimize seaming. The lower body is shaped using short rows creating a delicate curve at the hem.


GAUGE: 22 sts/32 rows = 4”/10 cm in Stockinette st, after blocking – take time to knit your swatch and measure your gauge.

MATERIAL: 5 (6 – 7 – 7 – 7 – 7) ball of  “Ulysse” in main color A (baleine bleue),
 or approx 1010 (1060 – 1200 – 1235 – 1280 - 1300) yards/925 (970 – 1100 – 1130 - 1170 – 1190) meters of DK yarn.

1 ball of De Rerum Natura “Ulysse” in color B (shown in aster), color C (shown in poivre et sel), color D (shown in sel) – or approx. 55 yards/50 meters in each color of DK yarn.

Circular and double pointed needles to get the gauge. (suggested size US4/3.5 m and US2 ½ /3mm) – scrap yarn or holder – markers – 6 buttons (15 mm diameter).

SIZES: XS (S - M1 - M2 – L – XL). 

Bust (closed): 34 (36 ½ - 39 ½ – 42 ½ - 45 ¼ - 49) / 86,5 (93 – 100 – 108 – 115,5 – 125) cm.
