Lucky (you)

Lucky (you) is a comfy cabled cardigan, perfect to protect little lucky hands from the first cold thanks to its secret pockets and its big cuffs.
It is worked topdown seamlessly and its big cables are very easier to work than it appears! Make someone lucky!

SIZES: 2 to 12, shown in size 2, in the "plume" colorway.

GAUGE:
18 sts x 25 rows = 4 inch (10 x 10 cm) in st sts with larger needles after blocking.
26 sts x 25 rows = 4 inch (10 x 10 cm) in cables pattern with larger needles after blocking.

MATERIALS
Around 520 (635, 745, 800, 960, 1.070) yds [475 (580, 680, 730, 880, 980) meters, 2 (3, 3, 3, 4, 4) balls of De Rerum Natura “Gilliatt” (274yds [250m] / 100g, French merino from Arles and black Portuguese merino), or equivalent yarn with the same gauge.
One US #7 [4.5mm] circular needle (32” [80 cm]) or size required to obtain the indicated gauge, and one US #6 [4mm] circular needle for the edgings,
Double pointed needles in the same sizes (you can use circular needles only, with the magic loop method),
One set of US #7 [4.5mm] straight needles for the pockets,
10 markers,
bits of scrap yarn to place stitches on hold
Cable and tapestry needle,
4 to 6 buttons approximately 0.8” [1cm to 2cm] in diameter.
